Singing Bee rules new time slot in Philippines

The sixth season of “The Singing Bee,” which previously aired on Saturdays, premiered as a daily morning show at 11 a.m. on February 24, joining ABS-CBN’s “Umaganda” block.

According to multi-national market research group Kantar Media, the show’s first weekday episode scored a nationwide rating of 15.8%, while its competing program on GMA-7, “Tunay na Buhay,” only garnered 5.7%.

The audience share of “The Singing Bee,” as measured using a panel size of 2,609 urban and rural homes, ranked 8th overall as the most watched program in the Philippines for the day, beaten only by primetime shows.
